KidFit USA After School Programs

KidFit USA was founded by Jeff and Michelle Brown of the International Institute of Martial Arts, Inc. and International Fitness Center at 456 E. Mission Rd., San Marcos, CA. Its components were carefully formulated by a team of World Champion/Hall of Fame martial artists and credentialed teachers.
KidFit USA is a Physical Education and After School Program designed to enrich the character development and fitness levels of students in grades K-8. It provides students the opportunity to participate in activities that emphasize fitness goals. Students learn to enjoy exercise by interacting with their peers. Children develop motor skills, hand-eye coordination, balance, strength and flexibility. Participants will improve listening skills and attention span while developing a satisfaction in achieving goals. The mental and physical gains that take place inspire students to make positive life choices.
Students will improve their levels of fitness, gain knowledge of self-defense techniques and safety precautions while participating in a new generation of martial arts and fitness. The KidFit USA program is an opportunity for students to get a taste of martial arts and a variety of other sports as they learn essential life skills to ensure their safety. The goal-setting characteristics and discipline of the KidFit USA courses are designed to build self-esteem and develop confidence to overcome academic obstacles.
The KidFit USA Physical Education program takes place on the school grounds during school hours. Fitness for children is an integral aspect of their personal, intellectual and physical development. Providing KidFit USA fills the gap for the schools that have eliminated or made cutbacks in their Physical Education programs.

The KidFit USA team consists of world class athletes, Hall of Fame Martial Artists, credentialed teachers, business professionals, licensed physical therapists and certified personal trainers (www.projectatheleteinc.com)
